July 24, 1991 Don, Included in this .ZIP file are the two files created by TeleDisk. Note that I used TeleDisk 2.12 if that makes any difference. FILENAME DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- IF800BAS.TD0 This is the weird OS that I was referring to. It is quite similar to IBM's PC-DOS BASICA but is a complete operating system. BTW, it uses Z80 code internally and not 8086/8088. (I've done a partial disassembly which is how I know this) IF800CPM.TD0 This is the CP/M 2.25 OS made by Lifeboat Associates back in '81. Lifeboat no longer handles CP/M in any guise so you're not likely to see any support from them. I got a less than helpful attitude when I went to them looking for BIOS source. Anyway, if I can be of further help, just yell. I have IMP, MEX (and MEX+), Qterm, and ZMP all configured for the machine if your friend needs telecomm functions. The BMC uses an 8251a USART with an 8430 baudrate generator. Jeffery Foy c/o Jiffy Software 14509-8th N.E. Seattle, WA 98155-6945 (206) 362-8158 (might not be able to get through during the day)
